Alessandro Betro - Accountant

"ALESSANDRO BETRO"

Born in Vibo Valentia, Italy, and raised in Pizzo Calabro (VV), where he completed his technical studies, he moved to Rende in 1998 to attend the University of Calabria, graduating in Business Administration in 2003. Over the next two years, he completed his internship as a Chartered Accountant and Legal Auditor at Betrò & Partners in Pizzo.

In 2005, he relocated to Rome to pursue a specialization master's degree in "Administration and Control" at LUISS Guido Carli University. Following a brief professional experience in the central administration of SDA Express Courier S.p.A., he successfully passed the professional qualification exam for Chartered Accountant and Legal Auditor.

From 2007 to 2017, he collaborated with prestigious consulting firms in Rome, including Studio Prof. Alessandro Musaio, Studio Verna Società Professionale, and Studio di Consulenza Giulio Palazzo, working as a licensed professional. During this period, he served as a full member of several Boards of Statutory Auditors for various companies.

From 2008 to 2013, he was an Academic Fellow for the courses "Financial Statement Analysis" and "Planning and Control" at LUMSA – Libera Università Maria SS. Assunta in Rome, within the Business and Banking Economics degree program.

Since 2017, he has been practicing independently at his own professional consulting firm in Rome.


Alessandro Casarotto

"Alessandro Casarotto"

Alessandro Casarotto lives in Polesine, known as the "Mesopotamia of Italy," a land nestled between the Adige and Po rivers. After high school, he studied Philosophy in Venice, where he became a student of Professor Umberto Galimberti and deepened his knowledge of German Romanticism, graduating with honors.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he spent significant periods in Paris, Prague, and Berlin, cities where he developed a strong passion for modern and contemporary art. Almost by chance, in 1999, he began working at Generali, where he was repeatedly awarded for his work and gained in-depth expertise in the life insurance sector.

In 2003, he obtained his certification as a financial advisor, first collaborating with Banca Generali and later with Barclays Bank. In 2008, together with a local partner, he took over the Carige Group insurance agency in Chioggia. A few years later, they established a multi-mandate agency specializing in Commercial Lines, Sureties, D&O (Directors & Officers Liability), and Legal Protection, offering tailored services for corporate and family asset protection.

Today, the agency represents leading insurance companies such as AXA and HDI, operating in the provinces of Venice, Verona, and Rovigo.

In 2019, Alessandro expanded his interests into the energy sector, with a particular focus on renewable energy, leading a dedicated team.

For years, Alessandro has worked as a risk manager, adhering to the UNI ISO 31000 international standard, a guideline applicable to various activities, including strategy definition, decision-making, operations, processes, projects, products, and services. This standard can be used to manage all types of risk—both positive, leading to his collaboration with US Company Advisor, and negative, which can be transferred to insurance solutions.


Sofia Pieri

"Sofia Pieri"

Sofia Pieri was born in Grosseto on March 15, 1990, and is a young architect registered with the Order of Architects of Florence.

In 2015, she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Florence with 110/110. Thanks to a scholarship, she continued her studies at the School of Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage, obtaining her degree in 2018 with 110/110 cum laude.

Her education was further enriched with a Master’s in Architecture for Fashion and Retail Spaces at the Fashion Research Italy Foundation in Bologna and internships at international firms (M+N Architects, GreenSpirit) and the Superintendence of Florence.

In 2023, she obtained the title of BIM Coordinator at the national level at the Archea Associati studio and currently serves as a board member of the Italian Institute of Castles.

Her passion for research has led her to participate in international conferences around the world on topics related to the restoration of military architecture and landscape conservation.

Among her most significant experiences, in 2018, she took part in a workshop in Punta Rossa, Sardinia, on the restoration of an important architectural work, collaborating with architect Stefano Boeri.

In 2022, she continued her academic commitment with a research grant on the urban analysis of the historic village of Massa Marittima, in Tuscany. This project involved the development of new mechanized pathways for the elimination of architectural barriers and the restoration of the former municipal theater.

Sofia began her professional experience at just 24 years old, collaborating on interior design and exhibition projects, including the exhibition "Across Art and Fashion" at the Ferragamo Museum.

In 2018, she joined the Engineering and Architecture Company Politecnica, where she consolidated an innovative BIM working method, applying it to significant projects such as the Køge Hospital in Denmark and the Palazzo degli Affari in Florence.

Subsequently, she collaborated with the consulting firm 2DTO6D, expanding her expertise in plant engineering disciplines and developing problem-solving skills.

From 2019 to 2023, she worked at the prestigious Archea studio, participating in numerous high-profile international projects: an important amusement park in Vietnam, the new Sberbank headquarters in Moscow's Smart City, two office towers in Taipei (Taiwan), and the new Training Center for the Fiorentina football club.

Currently, Sofia holds the role of BIM Coordinator and consultant for various companies, continuing to work on projects that combine conservation, innovation, and sustainability.

Responsible for planning key event aspects such as venue selection, seating arrangements, dining options, and guest lists. Delegating event planning tasks to other team members when necessary and effectively managing the planning of multiple events simultaneously.

MASSIMILIANO MAZZEI

"MASSIMILIANO MAZZEI"

Born in Tuscany, he completed his academic studies in the United States, specializing in Management and Business Administration. Upon returning to Italy, he managed and developed a road safety project for municipalities and the state in Central Italy.

Thanks to his versatility, he held executive roles in partner companies of Impregilo, Nuovo Pignone, Solvay, and Pizzarotti, gaining extensive expertise in contract law and international taxation.

He later took on various roles as a tax consultant in Monaco for real estate and financial groups, and in Spain for Lorenzo Sanz Mancebo, before becoming CEO at International Finance & Consulting in San Marino, specializing in international tax consulting. This experience led him to build a global network of collaborations with legal and tax firms, which remains active today.

After his time in San Marino, he returned to Miami as President of Fenice Incorporation, a multinational firm specializing in international tax and legal consulting, with offices across four continents.

Here, he strengthened relationships with corporate groups, entertainment figures, and sports professionals associated with the multinational, while also promoting charitable events that are still held today.

After the pandemic, he reconnected with his longtime friend Paolo Odierna, and upon discovering the forward-thinking projects presented to him, he saw a new challenge and decided to actively collaborate in their realization, bringing in all his know-how and energy.


STEFANO PALAI

"STEFANO PALAI"

Born in Pistoia and raised between Prato and Florence, after completing his technical studies and various internships, in 1996 he founded "PhotoArt.it."

In the following years, he attended specialization courses at Marangoni, Il Ford, Adobe, and later in Milan and London at the Institute of Photography. He worked for advertising agencies and the film industry as a Director of Photography.

From the late 1990s to the early 2000s, in collaboration with other companies, he developed the "DADDI" project, which involved the digital photographic documentation of the entire collection housed in the Uffizi Gallery and the Vasari Corridor, one of the most important museums in Florence and Italy. The project received numerous awards recognized by Il Sole 24 Ore and UNESCO, and was described as the most brilliant project in sponsorship, software development, and technique (Il Sole 24 Ore, November 23, 2003 – pages 8/9).

Over the years, he has created photographic archives for galleries, museums, and private collections in Italy and worldwide, in addition to producing numerous reports for national and international companies.

From 2006 to 2009, he managed all hospitality structures of Coldiretti, developing a centralized booking system. With the help of various collaborators, he produced all photos, videos, and 360° x 360° navigable images for the facilities, and developed a website for all participating businesses, in addition to the national and regional portals. He oversaw and managed the entire hosting, email, dedicated servers, cloud, security, marketing, social media, SEO, website, e-commerce, design, and training processes.

In 2006, he began aerial filming, initially using helicopters, Piper, and Cessna aircraft, later incorporating drones.

In 2009, he launched "Elix.it", a website aimed at delivering high-quality and reliable web and marketing services, offering various solutions, including hosting, email, dedicated servers, cloud, security, marketing, social media advertising, SEO, website development, e-commerce, design, and professional training.

Since October 2014, he has been a certified Google Maps Street View Trusted photographer (Stefano Palai) for virtual tours to promote businesses. That same year, he also became a direct photographer for "Kika Press."

In 2015, he created "TimeLapseItalia.net," a company specializing in the production of short films for cinema and businesses, with expertise in Time-Lapse, Long-Time-Lapse, and Hyperlapse photography at both the national and European levels.

He collaborates with numerous companies, providing high-end photography and advertising services.


TOMMASO ODIERNA 

"TOMMASO ODIERNA"

Born in Prato in 2004, he graduated in Administration, Finance, and Marketing in Rome in the summer of 2024.

Tommaso is the Social Media Manager of Nexxt Expo, where he is responsible for managing and enhancing the company's online presence.

With a strong interest in digital communication, he creates engaging content designed to connect with the audience and effectively promote the company’s services.

His goal is to help businesses grow through social media.


GIOSUÈ GILBERTO DI MOLFETTA

"Giosuè Gilberto Di Molfetta"

Giosuè Gilberto Di Molfetta, born in Canosa di Puglia (Barletta – Andria – Trani), currently lives in Salento, a region rich in culture, food, and traditions.

He began his career in the agricultural sector, working on his family farm. From there, he moved up through the entire agri-food supply chain, starting in the restaurant industry as a maître d’ in several prestigious hotels, before becoming a true ambassador of Italian and, in particular, Apulian food and wine excellence.

The three main pillars of his professional experience are also reflected in his agricultural consulting activities, which include, among other things, supporting companies in transitioning to organic farming.

Additionally, he assists agri-food and tourism businesses, helping them organize their participation in trade fairs and international exhibitions relevant to their respective sectors.

His involvement in associative organizations is particularly active, and he participates in several initiatives, all dedicated to various fields in which he focuses his professional energy.

Among these are the “International Maîtres Association Hotel,” “Puglia Swiss” (an initiative created to promote cultural, tourism, and commercial exchanges between Puglia and Switzerland), the cultural association “Alter Salento” for the promotion of tourism in Puglia, and “Ama la tua città,” where Di Molfetta serves as the president of the Puglia chapter.

Giosuè Gilberto Di Molfetta’s work has led him to pursue his objectives of promoting tourism and culture, particularly for Puglia and Italy, even abroad.

He has had the opportunity to present numerous intercultural exchange projects in countries such as Trinidad and Tobago, Switzerland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Brazil, Monte Carlo, Mougins, Poland, Estonia, and Latvia.

One of the most recent events he participated in was the 2019 edition of the Chefs World Summit, held in Monte Carlo in November of that year, under the auspices of Prince Albert of Monaco.

At the Prince’s Palace, during the Étoiles de Mougins Festival, Di Molfetta, responsible for the Italy Pavilion, had the opportunity to present to an audience of great international chefs a selection of Apulian excellence, including pasta, extra virgin olive oil, wines, and taralli, receiving highly positive feedback.
