Official Statement – Nexxt Expo
Postponement of the Made in Italy Fair
Postponement of the Made in Italy Fair
With great regret, we announce that the 2025 edition of Nexxt Expo, scheduled for the month of October, will not take place and will be postponed to next year.
The decision was made together with the numerous companies that had already joined, many of which are already present and active within Visionarium, our platform and cultural hub dedicated to Made in Italy.
The reasons
The current international scenario has created a situation of strong uncertainty for Italian exports to the United States:
• Increase in duties and abolition of the 800-dollar exemption, which previously allowed the entry of goods without taxation.
• New rules on small parcels, now also subject to duties, which have led European postal carriers to suspend shipments.
• Forced shift towards private couriers, with a consequent significant increase in transport costs.
• Lack, to date, of an agreement between the European Union and the American Government, which has pushed many international events to cancel or postpone their appointments.
Looking ahead
We are confident that, soon, the situation may return to normal, because the American market represents and will continue to represent a great opportunity for Italian companies.
In the meantime, our commitment continues without stopping:
Visionarium remains an ongoing exhibition event, 365 days a year, ready to welcome and promote Italian excellence in America, giving voice and visibility to the brands that have believed and continue to believe in us.
We thank all the companies and partners for their trust and collaboration.
Nexxt Expo will return in 2026, stronger than ever.
An international event to promote Made in Italy, featuring Italian companies from all sectors, who will have the opportunity to sell their products within a prestigious exhibition. Companies will also be able to meet major distribution chains, importers, brokers, and industry professionals through a personalized appointment schedule.
The trade show will be hosted in dedicated venues designed to celebrate Made in Italy, with events, entertainment, and conference rooms where discussions will be held on market dynamics and opportunities. Seminars will feature key figures from Italy’s most successful export sectors.
The Nexxt trade show holds international qualification recognition, thanks to the results achieved in its first edition, which saw 8% of total visitors coming from abroad and at least 4% from non-European Union countries.
